Lionel Messi’s real estate investment vehicle, Edificio Rostower SOCIMI, has made a significant move by debuting on the Portfolio Stock Exchange. Trading under the ticker ERTW, the company’s shares were listed at a price of €57.40, valuing the SOCIMI at €223 million. This milestone marks a key moment for the company, which boasts a diverse portfolio of high-value real estate assets.
The listing was facilitated with the legal expertise of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo which acted as the company’s Legal Trusted Partner. The advisory team was led by partner Augusto Piñel Rubio, a seasoned expert in real estate law, who also serves as the non-director secretary of the SOCIMI’s Board of Directors. Supporting Piñel were associates Valentina Rodríguez Hernández, Jacobo Palanca Reh, Irene Carreño Uría, and Miren Ibañez Sustacha, who brought their extensive knowledge of corporate and real estate law to ensure the success of the operation.
Edificio Rostower’s Board of Directors reflects its high-profile nature, with Lionel Messi serving as President and Antonela Roccuzzo as Vice President. The Board also includes Alfonso Nebot Armisen and Ramón Adell as members, further enhancing the company’s leadership and governance structure.
The SOCIMI’s portfolio comprises an impressive array of assets, including six MiM Hotels managed by Majestic in prime locations such as Andorra, Baqueira, Ibiza, Mallorca, Sitges, and Sotogrande. Additionally, the company owns a six-story mixed-use building in Barcelona with 4,000 square meters of offices, retail spaces, and parking, as well as a 2,500-square-meter warehouse in Sitges leased to a supermarket chain. Other assets include a luxury restaurant in Castelldefels and several premium residential properties in Barcelona’s Sarrià-Sant Gervasi neighborhood, Castelldefels, Cala Tarida, Paris, and London.
